The Land Rover Discovery comes in five different trims for 2023 and with a choice of two different powertrains. A 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder is the base engine, providing 296 horsepower. The optional engine is a 3.0L turbocharged 6-cylinder making 355 horsepower and 396 foot-pounds of torque. On all Discoveries, power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Standout features on the P300 S include 20-inch wheels, a power sunroof, automatic headlights, power folding and heated mirrors, rain sensing wipers, a parking assistance system, an 11-speaker stereo and an 11.4-inch touch screen for the interior. The P300 S R-Dynamic model LED headlights, keyless entry and push-button start. Inside this trim comes with an upgraded 380-watt Meridian sound system, a navigation system, electrically adjustable steering column and traffic sign recognition. The P360 HSE R-Dynamic adds more luxury with heated front and rear seats (all seven of them!) a powered third row of seating, a 15-speaker sound system, and additional ambient lighting. The new Metropolitan trim features LED fog lights, 22-inch wheels, ventilated front seats, 16-way power front seats, heated and ventilated rear seats, heated third-row seats, leather seats, a head-up display, and a heated steering wheel. Safety features across the lineup include front and rear parking sensors, an active lane departure system, active blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, a driver attention alert, and a traffic sign information system.
